Beverly Joyce Collins

Beverly Joyce Collins, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2024, in Warren, Michigan. She was born on May 18, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan, where she spent her early years cultivating a warm and friendly personality that touched the lives of everyone she met.

For many years, Beverly dedicated herself to her career as an executive secretary at Beaumont Hospital, a role that came with significant responsibilities. Her professional life was marked by her strong work ethic and her deep commitment to excellence, earning her the respect and admiration of her colleagues.

Beverly was blessed with a loving family, including her devoted husband, Harry Collins, with whom she shared over 60 cherished years of marriage. Together, they created a nurturing home filled with affection, laughter, and countless unforgettable memories. She is survived by her son, Scott (Erica) Collins, and her daughter, Amy Mills, who carry on her legacy of kindness and love. As a grandmother, Beverly enjoyed every moment spent with her grandchildren, Quinn Collins and Hunter Mills, who brought immeasurable joy to her life.

Within a close-knit family, Beverly shared a special bond with her siblings, including Kenneth (MaryAnn) Lange, Janet (Gerald) Hadacz, Cindy Manrique, and Denise Nass. The love between them was profound, and their shared memories will live on in their hearts forever.

Beverly had a passion for reading, always finding solace and joy within the pages of her favorite books. She also used to sing in a Glee Club, sharing her melodic voice and joyful spirit with those around her. Her friendly demeanor made her a cherished friend and confidant to many.

She now joins her son, Brian Collins, in eternal rest, where they will forever be together in peace.

Visitation services will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Wysocki & Wilk Funeral Home located at 29440 Ryan Rd, Warren, MI 48092. During the visitation, a Remembrance Service will take place starting at 4:00 PM.

Beverly’s remarkable presence in this world will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to shine brightly through the love she shared and the lives she touched.
