Donald A. Klanke, born February 26, 1931, died on Monday, March 9 at the young age of 89.
Donald went to meet his late wife Mary who he was married to for 62 years and is survived by his children: David (Suzie) Klanke, Janet Carroll, Joanne (Rob) Norwood, Nancy (Allan) Bensley, Gary (Shelly) Klanke, Ron (Aileen) Klanke, and Sharon (Lewis) Sturgeon.
He was the grandfather of 12 and the great-grandfather of 10.
Donald is a Korean War Veteran and served in the Army, Armory Division in 1952. He also retired from Chrysler after 38 years. He was also a very dedicated Scoutmaster to Troop 1942 for many years. He was an active member of Warren Community Church. Donald and Mary loved to travel and went on over 42 cruises. He especially loved summer vacations with his family at the cottage.

Visitation Thursday, March 12, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at David Wysocki Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren. Visitation will continue Friday, March 13, from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. Funeral Service also at the funeral home. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery in Troy.
