Donna Anne Spaniola, 70, of Michigan, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2023. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and a life dedicated to serving others.

Donna was predeceased by her parents, Anne and Arthur, and her brother Michael. She is survived by her loving husband James Glancy, who was her rock and constant companion through their 47 years together, stepdaughter Monika (Ian), siblings Janet (Tim), Gary (Erica), Anita (Larry) David (Lori), nieces Shaylene, Amanda (Steve), nephew Trevor, great nieces Lily, Sage, and great nephews Brody and Ryder of whom held a special place in her heart.

In her professional life, Donna dedicated three decades to Michigan Bell leaving an indelible mark with her hard work and dedication. Her commitment enabled her to retire early embarking on countless adventures alongside her cherished husband James. Their travels took them far and wide, with many winters spent in Florida, where Donna generously volunteered at a local elementary school, touching the lives of many young children with her warmth and kindness.

A woman of many talents, Donna had a passion for crafts and baking, always delighting in sharing her creations with friends and family. Her greatest joy came from making others smile and her selflessness endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Donna’s unwavering faith in God was the cornerstone of her life, a devotion instilled during her education at St. Clement. Her unwavering belief provided her with strength and solace, guiding her through life’s joys and challenges.

As we bid farewell to Donna, our hearts ache with the loss of such a beautiful soul, but we find comfort in the knowledge that she is now at peace in the loving embrace of the Lord. Donna will be remembered for her boundless love, infectious laughter, and spirit. She leaves behind a void that can never be filled, but her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all of those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

A memorial gathering will take place on Friday, November 3, from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Wysocki & Wilk Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren, Michigan. Gathering will continue on Saturday, November 4, from 9:30 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. Memorial Mass at Guarding Angels Catholic Church, 581 E. 14 Mile Road, Clawson, Michigan 48017.
