Dorothy Marie (Sabatini) Siwicki

Dorothy M. Siwicki (nee: Sabatini), age 85, passed away March 12, 2024.

Dorothy was the beloved wife of Joseph Siwicki for 65 years; loving mother of Linda Sollars, the late David Siwicki, Richard Siwicki, Daniel Siwicki, James (Kathleen) Siwicki, and Paul (Lynnette) Siwicki; devoted grandmother of Julia, Amanda, Madison, Carrigan, Roxanne, Chris (Diane), Joey, and Vanessa (Josh); many great and great-great grandchildren; and dear sister of Betty Sabatini, the late Alice (the late Norbert) Zyczynksi, Richard (Claire) Sabatini, Kathy (Tony) Provenzino, and Janet (Bill) Kreston.

Dorothy was born in Oklahoma and moved to Michigan when she was a young child and grew up in Hamtramck surrounded by her large loving Italian family. She met the love of her life while they were both working at the Daily Creamery in Hamtramck. She is a retired teacher’s aide with the Hamtramck Public School System. She enjoyed listening to Classic Country music. She would do anything for her family and friends, always putting their needs over her own. We are all grateful to know that she is finally at peace.

Visitation Friday, March 15, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. Rosary Service at Wysocki & Wilk Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren, Michigan. Visitation will continue on Saturday, March 16, from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service at the funeral home.
