Edward Walter Bryla

Edward Walter Bryla was born to Edward and Margaret Bryla on January 8, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan. This bouncing baby boy was their first child. In his youth and throughout his adulthood, he was a good Christian and a devout Roman Catholic. He attended Catholic and Warren Public Schools. He then graduated from Macomb Community College. After graduation, he skillfully mastered a variety of positions, ending his career as a dedicated Macomb County Sherriff's Corrections Deputy - his most loved job ever! Ed enjoyed good food, live and broadcasted sports, travel, movies, and "The Cottage" in St. Clair. Musically, he was a big fan of "Chicago". Most of all, he treasured spending quality time with his family and close friends. Ed was well liked by everyone because of his unwavering, pleasant demeanor and congeniality. Whether you thought of him as "Ed", "Eddie", Eddie B", "Fast Eddie", "The Silver Fox", or "The Ghost Pepper Connoisseur", he was the same honest, reliable, dependable, spiritual, genuine person to all. We will love and miss his kind soul.

Ed left us on May 4, 2019. Surviving him are his dearest and most beloved sister Cynthia (Benjamin), and numerous cousins.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Thursday, May 16, 2019 at MacRay Harbor Marina Banquet Center, 30675 North River Road, Harrison Township, Michigan. Family will receive friends at 10:30 a.m. with the service starting at 11:00 a.m. Please confirm your attendance with David Wysocki Funeral Home by calling 586-574-1770 before May 15, 2019.
