Edward W. Trottier

Edward W. Trottier, age 99, passed away April 14, 2019. He was born in Canada and moved to the United States in 1952 and became a U.S. citizen ten years later in 1962.

Edward was the beloved husband of the late Ernestine Trottier; loving father of the late Robert Trottier, Charlene Schupbach, Pete (Pam) Trottier, Joyce Trottier, Kenneth Trottier, Claudette (Steve) Ilijanich, Linda (Paul) Roy, Carol (Dave) Smith, and Ronald (Kathy) Trottier; father-in-law of Jeanne Trottier. He is also survived by his special daughter, Helen Cerny, and his brother, Sylvio (Irene) Trottier. He has 33 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren, and 30 great-great-grandchildren.

Edward loved many things in this life, above all his family, but he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He just loved the feeling of being in the wild outdoors. He loved to share this passion with others and was a longtime member and past president of the North Macomb Sportsman's Club. Edward was also a hard working man. He worked for Chrysler as a welder, among other jobs there, until he retired in 1979.

Visitation Thursday, April 25, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service at David Wysocki Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren. Instate Friday, April 26, from 10:00 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Anne Catholic Church, 32000 Mound Road, Warren. Interment will be at St. Clement Cemetery in Center Line.
