Eleanor V. (Argasinski) Weathers

Eleanor Veronica Weathers, age 92, passed away July 18, 2023.

Eleanor was the beloved wife of the late Bernard; loving mother of the late Monty Weathers, the late Alan Weathers, Barbara (Dan) Mezzapelle, Gregory Weathers, Cynthia (Vic) Bitel, Rochelle (Chris) Rosenbaum, Clifford (Glynis Sweeny) Weathers, and Diane (Curt) Marshall; devoted grandmother of Luckey, Michael, Jeffrey, Kevin, Jonathan, Mary, Terasa, Danielle, Eric, Robert, Stephan, Brianna, Marisa, Milo, Olivia, and Christopher; proud great-grandmother of 13; and dear sister of Dolores, Lorraine (Fred), and Christine. She was predeceased by her siblings, Regina, Barbara, Catherine, Elizabeth, Casmer, and Robert. Eleanor is also survived by her daughters-in-love, Jo Powers and Sue Weathers, and many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends who all loved her dearly.

Eleanor was known for her radiant smile and enjoyable and distinctive laugh, sense of humor, and sassiness. She enjoyed many things, especially cooking and baking for her large family. For many years she loved spending time making pierogi with her sisters and friends, who were known as the St. Louise Pierogi ladies. She also enjoyed playing cards, being involved with Christian Women, as well as the Red Hats. She loved traveling all over, she especially enjoyed her trips with family and friends to the casinos. She was very proud of her beautiful flower beds which were a showplace for the neighborhood. Above all, her biggest joy was spending time talking, holding hands, and snuggling with the love of her life, her beloved late husband, Googie.

Visitation Sunday, July 23, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary Service at Wysocki & Wilk Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren, Michigan. Instate Monday, July 24, from 9:30 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church, 38750 Ryan Road, Sterling Heights, Michigan. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
