Genevieve "Jenny" Shiemke

Jenny passed away peacefully on February 8, 2025.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Though she loved her career, her favorite role was that as a grandmother. She treasured their time together. Weekends were always spent with sleepovers, shopping, and dinners out. Jenny was the heart and soul of our family, the one who held us all together with her boundless love and support. She will forever live in our hearts.

Jenny was the beloved wife of the late Jerome Shiemke; loving mother of Gordon (Debbie) Shiemke; devoted grandmother of Brooke (Christopher) Allor, Brianna (Zachary) Demetrious, and the late Brian Shiemke; proud great-grandmother of Lily Shiemke, Gracelyn Demetrious, and Adrian Demetrious; and dear sister of Christine Szymanski, Delphine Ramsay, the late Lillian Paul, and the late Irene Jurkiewicz.

Memorial Visitation Sunday, February 16, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Wysocki & Wilk Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren, Michigan. A Memorial Mass will be held for Jenny at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 17, at St. Louise de Marillac Catholic Church, 2500 12 Mile Road, Warren, Michigan.

Donations in Jenny's name may be made to the Michigan Humane Society.
