Gerald F. Quill, Jr.

Gerald F. Quill, Jr.; age 64, passed away October 6, 2023.

Gerald was the husband of Janice Quill; the son of the late Gerald F. Quill, Sr. and the late Kathleen M. Quill; father of Victoria Foste and Shaun (Sara) Slesinski; grandfather of Stella, Sylvia, and Sawyer; brother of Denise (Lee) Thomas and Susan (Ed) Piro; and uncle of Brian, Jared, Brandon, Tyler, Austin, Lee Jr., and Courtney.

Jerry was a kind, funny, gentle and caring man who was passionate about music, politics and family. He was a father, brother, uncle, friend, who will be missed dearly. Jerry was a talented musician with an ear for music throughout his life. He was an accomplished trim carpenter for many years and then an apartment manager in California. Jerry enjoyed traveling with his family, panning for gold, painting and puzzles. He was an avid world history buff and had a thirst for knowledge. He loved cheering on the Detroit Tigers and Lions and was always sporting his team hat! Jerry loved his family and friends deeply and always had kind and thoughtful wisdom and advice to share. Jerry fought a long valiant battle, and we were in awe of his strength, courage and character. We will always cherish the memories of our time with him. Our hearts are broken but we take comfort in knowing Jerry is at peace in the arms of our Lord.

Gerald’s life will be celebrated by family and friends and his memory will live on always.
