Gilbert J. Brzezinski

Gilbert J. Brzezinski, age 91, passed away February 11, 2019.

Gilbert was the beloved husband of the late Christine Brzezinski; loving father of the late Judith Petree and Noelle (David) Gabrysh; father-in-law of Jack Petree; and devoted grandfather of Madison, Jason, Mackenzie, and Jared. He was also survived by his sister, Norma Jax, and is predeceased by his 5 other siblings.

Gilbert was a HUGE sports fan. His favorite teams were the University of Michigan Football Team and the Detroit Lions (God love him, he stood by and cheered them on, no matter what). He was a hard worker. Gilbert designed the interiors of cars at General Motors for 42 years. Above all, he loved spending time with family and friends, especially with his grandkids.

Visitation Thursday, February 14, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Wake Service at David J. Wysocki Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren. In-state Friday, February 15, from 10:30 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Blase Catholic Church, 12151 15 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights.
