Joseph Organek

Joseph Organek. A Navy Radarman in the Pacific Theater during World War II, passed away in Warren, Michigan, on December 22, 2015. Born on a farm in Boyne Valley Township, Michigan, on March 5, 1916, Joseph was the youngest of five children and the only son of Alexander Organek and Apolonia(Turowski) from Poland. Joseph was a high school graduate, Secretary of his graduating class, and a Master Electrician with Chrysler Corporation for 30 years. Joseph enjoyed playing pool and was an excellent cribbage player, deer hunter, and gardener. Although the garden got smaller as he grew older, his hands were always in the dirt, growing tomatoes through his last summer. Joseph is predeceased by Frances(Czekiel), his beloved wife of over 50 years, and sisters Josephine, Martha, Anne, and Julia. Joseph is survived by his sons Joseph(Carol Kulpinski) and Lawrence(Kathy/Rose Letwinski), his daughter Donna(Robert Conell), and his seven grandchildren. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-9pm with a Scripture Service at 7:30pm at the David J.Wysocki Funeral Home 29440 Ryan Rd.(1 blk.N.of 12 Mile Rd.)Warren. Funeral Monday Instate 9:30am until time of Mass 10am at St.Anne Catholic Church 32000 Mound Rd.,Warren. Joseph will rest beside Frances at Resurrection Cemetery,Clinton Township,Michigan.
