Josephine Elizabeth Zubkiewicz

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Josephine Elizabeth Zubkiewicz, who departed this life on March 11, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on July 8, 1937, Josephine led a life rich in love, family, and cherished experiences.

Josephine was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her devoted son, Claude Davis; daughters Dena (Jerome) Kolodziejski and Karen (Gary) Perkins; granddaughter Kym (Dave) Carlson; grandson Ryan (Tara) Kolodziejski; and great-grandchildren who will carry forward her legacy. She is also survived by her loving siblings, Cecilia Castner and Walter (Carolyn) Kisiel.

Josephine's journey through life was characterized by her warmth and kindness. A true homebody at heart, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She delighted in visiting Wixom Lake, spending time at the local casino, and indulging in her love for gardening. Josephine had a special fondness for cats and enjoyed feeding birds, often creating a serene and inviting atmosphere in her home. She had a passion for cooking, sharing her culinary creations with family and friends, which forged lasting memories around the dining table.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Anthony and Emelia Kisiel; her first husband, Claude Davis; her second husband, Alexander Zubkiewicz; and her siblings, Anthony, Edward, Emily, Patricia, and Anna, who welcomed her into eternal peace.

Josephine's loved ones will gather to honor her memory with a Memorial Visitation on March 16, 2025, at Wysocki & Wilk Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren, Michigan. The event will begin at 11:00 AM and conclude with a Memorial Service starting at 1:00 PM. Friends and family are encouraged to come together during this time of remembrance, celebrating the profound impact Josephine had on all who knew her.

Josephine Elizabeth Zubkiewicz will be missed dearly; her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her family and friends.
