Kathy M. Kostrzewski

Kathy M. Kostrzewski (nee: Plezia), age 67, died on Thursday, May 24, 2018 in Rochester, Michigan.

From her birth in Detroit, on January 31, 1951, Kathy spent her life caring for others. She became a nurse shortly after finishing high school and worked at many hospitals throughout the Detroit area until finally retiring from Henry Ford so that she could care for her relatives. Kathy met Michael while both were still students in high school, and they soon married on October 29, 1971.

Left to honor Kathy and remember her love are Kathy’s husband Michael; two children, Brian (Jolanta) Kostrzewski and Jeff (Mandy) Kostrzewski; and four grandchildren; Evan, Noah, Brennan, and Jackson.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 30, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Rene Goupil Church, 35955 Ryan Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48310. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Twp. The family will greet friends from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29 at the David J. Wysocki Funeral Home 29440 Ryan Road, Warren, and again at church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
