On Saturday, December 18, 2021, Kimberly (Ayotte) Marz, loving wife and mother, passed away suddenly at the age of 56.
Kimberly Joan was born on February 15, 1965 in Ferndale, Michigan to Raymond and Marjorie (Neuman) Ayotte. She was raised and lived in Hazel Park, Michigan until her death. On October 4, 1986, she married Stuart Marz, and together they raised one son, Derek.
Kim was the youngest of 16 brothers and sisters and while small in stature, she was larger than life to most. She loved spending time with family and friends and could always be counted on to tell the best stories and make everyone laugh. Her creativity and thoughtfulness shined through with her innate ability to give the best gifts and advice to those she loved.
Kim was preceded in death by both of her parents, and siblings Patricia (the late Ray) Beard, Betty Jean, Sharon (Butch) Jackson, and Karen (late Dan) Ooten. She is survived by her husband Stu, their son Derek, her siblings, Ken (the late Pat) Ayotte, Carol (the late Jim) Scott, Beverly (Richard) Hawkyard, Judy (Ray) Bucholtz, Susan (the late Ron) Marcola, Iris (Andrew) Wirag, Kurt (Sue) Ayotte, Chris (the late Blinda) Ayotte, Tina (Roger) Preister, Pam (Bruce) Reese and Elsie (Richard) Abke, as well as over 100 nieces and nephews, who affectionately referred to her as Mimi.
