Lisa Marie Kowalski

On Wednesday, May 5, 2021, Lisa Marie Kowalski, loving mother and grandmother, passed away at the age of 55.  Lisa was born in Detroit, MI to the late Theodore and Dolores Kowalski.  First and foremost, Lisa was dedicated to her children and grandchildren and took great pride in every precious moment she had with them.

She enjoyed time with her family and friends – laughing, dancing, and sharing memories.  She was a dedicated Red Wings fan and was always ready for a night at the casino or a concert at the Riverfront.  Lisa’s passion for cooking was a gift to all who knew her – whether it be a family event, catering at the church, or just her need to whip up some homemade pierogi – she could always be found in the kitchen.  Lisa is known for her kind heart, infectious laugh, and compassionate spirit.

Lisa is survived by her three children, Theresa (Jason), Samantha (Shauna), & Erik (Phylicia), her grandchildren, Zachary, Emily Rose, Annabella, Ashten, & EJ, her siblings, Kathi (Mike), Nancy (Dan), Carl (Janet), Ted, Terri (Joe), Bernie (Jill), Chrissy (Marty) and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Per her wishes, there will not be a funeral; however, a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
