Michele (Viano) Nye

Michele Nye, age 62, passed away May 8, 2024.

Michele was the beloved wife of Alexander Nye; loving mother of Dominic Nye and Brianna (Thomas) Trotta; devoted Nonna of Hunter James Trotta; daughter of the late Donald and the late Carol Viano; and dear sister of Richard Viano, Angel Viano, Kimberly (Jon) Keul, Renay Weishaupt, Rena Gibbs, and the late Michael Viano.

Michele always wanted to, and usually did, make a difference in this world and the lives of those around her. She was a great advocate for animal life in general and cared for her own pets with great affection. Her true talent was bringing out the best in people around her, especially kids. She coached, cheered, and led her kids and all the other children associated with the teams and activities they were involved in. She supported softball, soccer, girl scouts…the list could go on. Michele loved her family and was often the one to push the family to get together for the holidays each year.  She also absolutely adored her grandson, Hunter James, and would dote on him constantly.

Visitation Monday, May 13, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Wysocki & Wilk Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren, Michigan.  Visitation will continue on Tuesday, May 14, from 11:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. Funeral Service also at the funeral home.

Donations may be made in Michele’s memory to I Heart Dogs Rescue and Animal Haven .
