Rev.Fr.Donald Bernard Kuntz

Reverend Father Donald Bernard Kuntz Age 99 June 13,2013. Beloved son of the late Daniel & Carolyn Kuntz.
Fr. Kuntz was ordained as a Catholic Priest on June 7, 1941 and retired on July 1, 1984. Fr. Kuntz was the oldest priest in the Archdiocese of Detroit. He was founder and pastor of St. Cletus Catholic Church in Warren. Fr. Kuntz was co-founder of Stella Maris (a hunting lodge for priests in Gaylord, MI). He also sponsored a yearly venison dinner for the parishioners of St. Cletus Church. Fr. Kuntz was an avid golfer and he spent many winters at the PGA National in Palm Beach, FL. He was Chaplain for the Warren Police Department and the Detroit Lions. Fr. Kuntz was loved and admired by many, he will be greatly missed. Fr.Kuntz will lie in state on Monday June 17,2013 at 10am until time of Mass 11am at Our Lady Of Grace St. Cletus Catholic Church 26256 Ryan Rd, Warren. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
