Richard L. Ostro

Richard L. Ostro, age 83, passed away August 14, 2020.

Richard was the beloved husband of the late Helen Ostro; loving father of Deborah (Gregory) Walters and the late Richard L. Ostro, Jr.; devoted grandfather of Christopher Ostro, Matthew Walters, and Jonathan Walters; and dear brother of the late John Ostro Jr. and Rodger (Carol) Ostro.  He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Sandy Ostro.

Richard was a hard worker, having worked at Chrysler for about 36 years as a tool & die maker.  He loved watching his Western movies and gameshows.  Richard also gave very insightful gardening tips.  Above all, he loved spending time with his family.  He enjoyed going for walks and playing cards with the grandchildren. Richard also frequently traveled to New Jersey to visit his daughter, son-in-law  and grandchildren.  In New Jersey, he enjoyed going to the grandchildren’s baseball games, taking a swim in the ocean, playing some putt-putt golf, going to the Haskell horse races and especially enjoyed vacationing in Atlantic City.

Visitation Friday, August 21, from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service at David Wysocki Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren.
