Sharron A. Nikitin was a nurse who had the gift of serving others. Her sweet, compassionate, loving, selfless spirit was evidence of her relationship to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She passed away peacefully, on January 21, 2020. She was born on August 9, 1935, to the late Homer and Ethel Kauffman in Highland Park, Michigan.
Sharron was a special mother to her four children and their wives. She was their nurse, counselor, teacher, prayer warrior, and friend.
She could always be counted on to be there for her family. She was an outstanding example of a true believer. Her legacy will impact her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren for generations to come.
Proverbs 31 describes the epitome of the virtuous woman. That scripture lists more than 20 virtues. Her family and friends agree that Sharron was the one that Solomon was writing about in that passage.
She was proceeded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Merle who passed away on December 22, 2019.
She was a loving mother of Mark Ivan (Susan) Nikitin, Keith Merle (Janet) Nikitin, Linda Amanda Nikitin, and Kathleen Sharron Nikitin; devoted grandmother of Kimberly (Jason) Siemer, Daniel (Aimee) Nikitin, Ryan (Katie) Nikitin, and Alexander Nikitin; proud great-grandmother of Oliver, Jude, Madeleine, Bailey, and Auri; and dear sister of Phylis (Elwin) Andres; loving aunt of Krysten (Larry) Arthur; great aunt of Brandon and Allie Arthur.
Visitation, Monday, January 27, from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service at David Wysocki Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren, Michigan.
A private burial will take place with the family.
