Suzanne (Urban) Agnello

December 8, 1935 — February 11, 2024

Warren, Michigan

Suzanne Agnello (Urban) of Warren, Michigan, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024, at the age of 88.  She was born on December 8, 1935, in Detroit, Michigan to the late Steve and Rose Urban.

She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Agnello.  Suzanne was married to her sweetheart Ray for 35 years before he passed. Suzanne was the dearest mother of 4 daughters: Raelene Kokenos, Maureen (Jim) Bowen, Colleen (Tom) DeMaria, and Sharlene (Marco) Cercone. Loving grandmother to Kristyn Kokenos (fiancé Kevin Moore), Karyn (Tim) Piconke, Kendyl (Ray) Valdez, Billy Kokenos, Bobby (Jenna) Kokenos, Danny Bowen, Diane (Zachary) Wiseman, Melanie (Philipp) Tesch, Alyssa (Marcello) Ruffino, Tommy (Kara) DeMaria, Tony DeMaria, Jenna (Anthony) DiCicco, Amanda (Ryan) Zois, and Marcorino (Jessica) Cercone. Proud great-grandmother to Brittany, Antonio, Dante, Makayla, Lilyana, Brookelyn, Jayden, Dylan, Leyland, Londyn, Jordan, Jace, Billy, Mia, Connor, Ella, Mario, Matteo, Angelo, Anthony, Brianna, Carlo, Autumn, Carter, and Baby Girl Cercone to-be. Blessed great-great-grandmother to M.J., Ryder, and Riyah. Dear sister of deceased sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Joe VanHazenbrouck, Del and Tom Andre, Terry and Bob Brisse, and Bunny Bonanno.  She is survived by her dear brother-in-law Don Bonanno.  She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Suzanne worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Detroit during several periods of her life.  Most of all she lived her life dedicated to her husband, Ray, and raising her family.  Suzanne was a hard-working and proud homemaker and a rather independent woman, with strong morals and a caring heart.  She made everyone feel welcomed, at home and up north at the cottage, feeding the crowds on most weekends and making great memories for all of us to treasure.  Family was everything to her.  She taught us the true meaning of love!
