Teresa Carbajal

Teresa Carbajal, age 88, passed away October 26, 2024.

Teresa was survived by her sister-in-law, June Carbajal, several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Teresa was predeceased by her parents, Joseph Carbajal and Marie (Santiago) Tafoya, and siblings, Aurora (John) Sapiano, Henry Carbajal, Charles Carbajal, and David Carbajal.

Teresa loved to see the world and travel around seeing what each unique place had to offer. She would also like to watch old classic movies. More than anything, Teresa loved bringing her family together. She was the uniter between all the different families and loved spending time with them all. Her defining characteristic was her nurturing spirit. Over the years, she took care of her parents, siblings, nieces, and nephews through all the ups and downs of life.

Instate Thursday, October 31, from 9:30 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at the Most Holy Trinity Church, 1050 Porter Street, Detroit, Michigan.
